Has anyone here ordered made-to-order or made-to-measure clothing from Etsy?

For example I've been looking into pure linen clothing. When filtering by region, I’ve noticed a number of European brands—especially from areas known for quality linen like the Baltic region and Ireland—selling directly and shipping from their country of origin.

There seems to be a good range of trousers, shirts, and even suits available for almost any type of materia you might search for. Some stores aslo claim to use certified materials. But I not sure about transparency here and navigating and filtering results is a pain on the site.

But maybe Etsy is a way to avoid fast fashion bullshit and find better-made, longer-lasting clothing? Thoughts, experiences, or alternative suggestions?

3x now and the product I got was always complete garbage. I won’t use it anymore.

Etsy allows small companies to fill a niche. This comes with a higher price tag. Tax is also added only at checkout. Delivery costs seem awfully high too.

I wanted to buy undyed, 100% linen or hemp boxer shorts because I had "flax can be grown, spun and woven on the continent unlike cotton!!" autism. Couldn't find anything but a few sellers from Ukraine. I ended up buying and got a package after a month or so. (Protip: drop the "undyed" requirement and get something in navy so you don't look like a medieval peasant).

I wanted to buy a surcingle belt in the EU. Couldn't find anything but some dude from Greece on Etsy. Didn't end up buying because I found something on Vinted, but I would have otherwise.

As for the credibility/transparency, you never really know, accept it.
