Why did robes fall out of fashion for men?
Since it's been so fucking hot here in the UK recently (no aircon) got some cheap hanfu cotton robes to wear around the house so my balls don't overheat and die, and holy fuck robes are just 1000x more comofortable to wear than regular clothing. Everything flows, your balls aren't sweaty, the way it moves just feels nice on the skin.
This got me thinking, why AREN'T robes part of at least summer fashion? Major high end fashion labels have been trying to get guys to wear skirts for a long time, but I feel the robe is a far more acceptable, and nice option. Honestly robe top, white shirt, and loose cotton pants seems like a pretty fashionable combo.

Robes are also absolutely appropriate for summer lol, they allow way more air flow over the skin and don't chafe. Robes are what people wear in the middle east. Toga's are a from of robe from the med.

I bought a woman's cover up recently that I wear sometimes over my clothes. It's very light, blocks the sun, and can keep me either cool or warm depending on my needs. Feel free to experiment, no one will stop you.

You may not realize but pants are to Western culture was a toga or tunic was to Greco-Roman culture.

Don't get me wrong, I like robes, tunics and kilts. But wearing them as a man isn't all that socially accepted, so unless you're a muscular, bearded alpha-type guy, you'll look gay or trying to hard.
If all you want is balls that aren't sweaty, just get some well-cut cargos.

When the Western Roman Empire fell to Germanics and Germanics, Celto-Germanics, and eventually a bunch of Slavs civilized by Germanics took over, they stuck to their pants culture, and this has continued even as the environment has warmed.
