nearly every major metro city is a melting pot, i don't think any hold a candle to nyc in that regard though
dont get me wrong i live in nyc and it's filthy and blahblahblah (i'm sure toronto is a good counterpoint of your money feeling better spent) but the pull of the city completely bulldozes everywhere else, where that inadvertently makes it the "best"

unless i had a cushy job offer to move there i don't see how it can even possibly be mentioned in the same breath as new york respectfully, the cache alone is a self-feeding cycle that keeps propping it up
