If, hypothetically you had access to a tailor/designer and you had a blank check to pay them to custom make any item of clothing for you to your exact specifications, what would you ask for and why?
For me, I recently discovered a vintage military American infantry uniform and I absolutely love the cut and the style. But I’m not in the military and I want to keep the coat as a collectors item anyway. So I would ask the tailor to make an identical copy, but in a gray material (felt is a good option looks wise but it’s not nearly cold enough in this country for that to be an option) and with less flashy buttons. The picture doesn’t do justice to how well fitting and nice the jacket actually looks in person. Plus it would look kind of fascist, but I would have enough plausible deniability to get away with it. I think that now that I’ve finished my undergraduate degree it’s time to start looking sharp

I agree with you. That’s why I would get a copy made without the military insignia on it. That was the idea. I have no interest in looking like I’m in the army. It’s just that the cut of the jacket is perfect for my body type

I know people who can get it done but it’s too expensive at the moment… but I think I’ll try to save some cash because it’s worth it. I think it’s really nice to have high quality stuff but it’s really expensive

akatsuki robes with no clouds on them, im not sure on the fabric but itd probably need to be a cotton or wool, (hidden) snaps would probably be the best way to keep it shut, maybe buttons
i think itd be nice to recolor it in a more twilighty color too

Custom shoes. I need a reasonably cushioned warm weather pair of shoes, same thing waterproof, and mid height winter boots. I have considered doing this due to having a rare shoe size (width issue) but the asking price is $$$$$$$$$.
