idk how my dad dressed in college (graduated '67 I think) but he was really into the rock scene and was hippie-adjacent so through the late '60s and most of the '70s he seems to have mostly worn jeans and band/festival T-shirts or sleazecore button ups, I helped my parents move a few months ago and he's still got a lot of that stuff around. What's kinda funny is he went to ivy league grad school at the start of the '80s and completely changed his fits to match then, and I've never seen him wear jeans or a t-shirt in my entire almost 40 years of life.
