It's that time of the year again, I'm already dying in my city and a heat wave is coming this week.
I look like absolute shit in shorts, I'm too tall for that (6'3) and even if I lift it'll always look ridiculous on me.
How do you even dress in summer? Every man looks bad out there.

There’s no way to look good in shorts without being fit. Either get in the gym, try some lighter more breathable fabric pants, or get as rich and famous and handsome as Leo DiCaprio so you could make a paper bag look good.

I keep forgetting how ridiculous most men's shorts look till I see them next to women's shorts. Like looking in the photo, how long are her shorts? 3 inch inseam at the longest? And his? 11 inch inseam at the shortest?
Like in a general sense I can get men's shorts being slightly longer due to external genitalia and everything, but there's no need for men's shorts to be like 9+ inches longer than women's shorts.
Long men's shorts are a holdover from the 90s and look ridiculous. Men's shorts should at least fully show the knees and go up a little higher. Shouldn't be longer than a 9 inch inseam. Preferably at least a 7 inch inseam.

I only wear shorts around the house or if it’s like stupid hot and humid. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania so it never gets that hot humid really. I just don’t like the way shorts look and feel. I don’t want to see my bare legs and nobody else does either. It’s also inappropriate for most decent restaurants, bars, clubs, the country club, like you can really only wear them well just running errands. I see shorts as akin to sweatpants or something so I just don’t really wear them.
