Just got my first pair of barefoot shoes; they're a bit narrow. What's /fa/'s opinion on barefoot shoes?

They're comfy, though a lot of them look like shit. Vivo seems to have been honing their shape over the years. There are some brands out there that want $150-200 for a leather bag with a sole stitched to it.

Barefoot shoes aren't normally wide. They just have the big rounder toebox. The marketing copy often says they're wide but it's not the reality. Narrow from heel to forefoot, no more than 2E at base of toes. Also this lad (lass?) in picture is fucked. That's a foot that needs one of those orthopedic "shoes" where it's just a flat rubber bottom and velcro material to wrap over the foot.
