so I thought I had lost my charcoal suit pants and bought a navy suit for a wedding next week. however, I found the charcoal pants as I was trying the suit on in my closet.

now that I have a choice, I'm thinking about returning the Navy suit...but also, charcoal feels "dead" for a wedding" and I'm not sure if I should keep the Navy suit. I don't have one already so if I return it I'll only have the charcoal

thoughts? wedding attire is cocktail attire

if you're not some high society asshole going to the bezos wedding, the attendees don't normally care, the main reason for blowing money on wedding attire is because you can take dress-up photos for your tinder or grindr profile. a charcoal suit can be jazzed up with the right shirt and tie, just don't go overboard but you don't have to go with a solid white shirt is all I'm saying

Why would any self respecting fashionista post a dumbass DEI image in 2025? So last season bro.

now I already told the groom (who invited me) I was going to wear Navy and he said that would be great and I'd fit in. should I tell him I'm changing to charcoal or just show up and not worry about it? I guess no one will really notice or care.
