usually, no.
The thing with any kind of leg surgery is that your basically crippled until you can recover and it's hard to exercise while your man means of mobility is hampered. The end result is a lot of people getting fat during recovery and many don't lose it. They might be taller, but now they're fatter which is just as unattractive.
If you have the discipline to not get fat it might be worth it.

It's not worth it, know a friend who did it and the reality is that if you are pulling 6/10s currently, after surgery you will be pulling 6/10s that are slightly taller.

no. i cant even believe its legal to break someones legs in half and insert rods in between the pieces. this goes beyond "muh liberty", it is serious mental illness to even want this and surgeons should not be entertaining and enabling it.
