They're cringe. They have no real personal style and change their entire persona as soon as some new silhouette drops. They are very knowledgable but are just talkative fashion edge-lords. The clothes are doing all the work with no actual sense of place, purpose, lifestyle or personality.

Cringe because they don't actually care about clothes and never have. Every time they have someone on the show who actually really knows their shit they completely fumble it. They routinely expose how much they don't know, how much they don't keep up, and honestly just how much they don't care in general. No good questions get asked, and even if the person has an interesting answer to a bad question, they never get pressed to elaborate. So there's these brief moments where it's like the show is just about to have a good conversation about clothes and then a stupid sports/sex/drake joke gets made and the moment gets lost.

Compare how much more enthusiastic they are when they have a non-fashion guest or talk to a fashion guest about literally anything besides clothes (sports, dating, food, etc.)

They were mildly amusing when they had a Vice show and they've managed to keep transferring that momentum into a long ass career which is honestly impressive. Also to be fair there are so few decent fashion podcasts they can be absolutely dogshit and they're still middle of the pack. They're also completely shameless and truly know how to play the self-promotion game so yeah it's not a mystery why they're successful. But they absolutely never really gave a shit about clothes and now they're more checked out than ever. So yeah, cringe for a fashion podcast.
