These black ones are good too, but black is less preferable for the same reason. Shame that it's usually just the black ones that get rid of the pastel color accents, on shoes with otherwise decent design.

Danner has many brands specifically for hiking with all sorts of varying tiers of quality each with assortments of colorways.
Trail 2650 is easily popular. Especially west coast.

I literally just tried on the tan/brown ones of those today. They were pretty nice.
I decided to get these sandal things instead though, since they work as casual/very light hiking shoes and do a bunch of stuff I don't have anything else for. (Wearing without socks, going in water, packing really small and light for camp shoes, etc.)

ipath did a few runs of hiking shoes before they died they are fairly hard to find these days

You cant make a trail running style hiking shoe look good. You can either make it less noticeable with muted merrells or go all out with ridiculous hoka colors. Either way its gonna look goofy. Hiking boots on the other hand can look great both on trail and off it
