>>18484724 (OP) these are great https://www.adidas.com/us/terrex-free-hiker-2.0-low-hiking-shoes/IE5110.html other brands you can try are merrell, la sportiva, salomon, arcteryx or altra
>>18484757 I like these, but I'm retarded about that taupe white stripe. It gets dirty where I live. >>18484729 These black ones are good too, but black is less preferable for the same reason. Shame that it's usually just the black ones that get rid of the pastel color accents, on shoes with otherwise decent design.
Danner has many brands specifically for hiking with all sorts of varying tiers of quality each with assortments of colorways. Trail 2650 is easily popular. Especially west coast.
I got oboz last year they are great They are gonna be super popular soon i think

>>18484724 (OP) Are you actually going to use these for hiking or just LARPing at your local coffee shop? If you're gonna hike in them then why the fuck do you care about looks over comfort and overall quality? Very queer-coded.
For anyone who knows, especially guys buying from Salomon: ... will they make more? I just discovered this watershoe and it looks awesome and I want size 13. I'd like to believe they'll make more (in this color).
>>18484882 I literally just tried on the tan/brown ones of those today. They were pretty nice. I decided to get these sandal things instead though, since they work as casual/very light hiking shoes and do a bunch of stuff I don't have anything else for. (Wearing without socks, going in water, packing really small and light for camp shoes, etc.)
>>18487098 Tell me if those backs hold up well enough after months of use. I'm not the type to "slip on" shoes, so "no heel" pisses me off, even when lounging.
>>18487127 I'll try to post updates when there are relevant threads. I can't stand shoes with heel support either and especially hate traditional sandals so these might be a game changer for me.
OP here. Every hiking shoe is trying to look like a Salomon trail running shoe, and I'm fucking tired of it.

>>18484724 (OP) I hate that grey rubber shit on the bottom of hiking shoes too. Just get merrell Moab lows in all black. Even the brown/sand colored ones have a less obnoxious looking sole.
>>18484724 (OP) vans mtes are pretty good and aesthetically they dont look any worse than any other vans. ipath did a few runs of hiking shoes before they died they are fairly hard to find these days

You cant make a trail running style hiking shoe look good. You can either make it less noticeable with muted merrells or go all out with ridiculous hoka colors. Either way its gonna look goofy. Hiking boots on the other hand can look great both on trail and off it
>>18484724 (OP) salomon makes a lot of hiking shoes that actually looks good while still being proper hiking shoes, they even did a few collab with maison margiela

>>18489454 >You cant make a trail running style hiking shoe look good not true >look great both on trail and off it i agree that they can look good but any real mountain trail boots are extremely uncomfortable to just walk on any hard flat surface
