Do it the way old bodybuilders in the 70's did it. Broad massive shoulders/chest and ultra tight waist. Makes you look like an ant. High waist pants on skinny men makes you look like a nerd, always.

Those aren't high waisted pants. They're just retarded. No man's waist is that high, not even women's. Look at the rise on the pants in the right most pic. It's as tall as his entire torso.

You will think i'm joking, but the answer is buying in the woman's section, relaxed/oversized/boyfriend fit.

Men's high waisted pants are often too tight around the ass and thighs and then taper down giving your legs a skinny fat carrot proportion and defeat the whole purpose of higher waists (making you look taller).

Woman's high waist pants are often equally proportioned throughout which make your whole body look leaner and taller.

You actually need to find brands that work for you though. Some times the pocket space sucks, sometimes there's not enough room for your dick and balls, sometimes the waist is too flared. Anything japanese (Uniqlo, Muji, Niko And etc.) is usually a safe bet because they're more structured for the silhouette and not the gender.
