How do you develop a style so coherent that you look like the main character even if you physically are barely average?

Long hair with nice layers is a game changer if you know how to style it, which might be full of effort if you have curly-ish hair (like me) but it's so worth it.
I have been stupid enough multiple times to cut my hair short because dudes told me to do so. No more of that. I'll let it grow and get a nice flow this time.
Even just by wearing plain jeans and a basic shirt you'll look like a main character, unlike short haired dudes who'd just look like "some guy".

It helps to wear clothes that actually fit your bodyshape
