My wife is black/mixed and has hair but keeps it trimmed short, practically bald, because she hates all the upkeep of black/mixed hair.
And the reason they lose hair is because of all the chemical shit they put on their heads. Straightener/relaxer? That stuff works by literally dissolving away parts of the hair so that it no longer holds a curl. It can leave chemical burns on the skin and if it's put on too close to the root, it will destroy the follicle, causing permanent hair loss.
Also, you literally can't use a weave without actual hair to weave it into. Bald bitches can't use weaves.

She only used it to flatten her hair to make it easier to get a haircut, otherwise, she rubbed this stuff called cholesterol (srsly) into her head, wrapped her hair up in a T-shirt and go to bed.
Non-mixed black girls use that flattening thing constantly to keep their chemically relaxed hair straight, damaging it even further than just putting that relaxer shit on their heads does asking.
Black women have the absolute worst haircare routine. That's why they lose hair.
