Is there any male equivalent to lolita fashion? I really like how it looks and I love the fusion of old European clothing with a modern flare and sometimes taking ideas from other cultures and making cool fusions like pic rel. But I am not a troon and it would be faggy to wear these types of dresses as a man unless you pass, but passing as a man would be even gayer. Is there anything remotely similar for men in the sense that it shares the same philosophy of older European styles of clothing reimagined in the modern day? Or will I have to drink the estrogen if I want this style of clothing in any way?

Not him and not that i know. Westaboos made lolita by inspiration from french rococo. Man/woman that time used more ornaments in the clothing but male clothing evolved for simplicity and functionality. Male clothing today is zzZzzZZZzZZZZzzZzZ and thats will i only make women clothing.

ouji is the masculine equivalent of lolita but if you're not a cute asian twink you shouldn't even bother with the majority of it. i recommend looking into EGA fashion, brands like atelier boz/alpstola and moi meme moitie might interest you. regular old romantic goth fashion could have a similar appeal as well if you can't fit into japanese burando. for the love of god stay away from whatever that taobao shit you posted is though it looks like a cheap costume.

There is a fantasy element to lolita, it is artistic and modern despite its roots in older victorian styles of dress. It only makes sense that the male equivelant follows this same philosophy.

Dresses, lace, and bows are unique to women and cannot be copied, but the core essence of lolita can. It is often gothic, and to an extent formal, it has delicate bells and whistles.

My best idea is to pair lolita with dressy Western. It's the closest to a masculine equivalent of lolita, an idealized reimagining of 19th and early 20th century styles. Tombstone (pic related) is probably the best example because it's got some definite modern touches like square-toed boots. I've suggested this to actual lolitas and they all thought it was a good idea too. IMO it'd pair best with the classic lolita style (which is my favorite and what my ex wore) but it could work with gothic or sweet as long as they're more subtle variations.
