Is this the biggest psyop against men's clothing and aesthetic as a whole in the past 20 years?
The whole trend of wearing low rise pants and sagging mid and high rise pants comes from gay fashion trends from the early 2000's pushed by gay fashion designers onto straight/normal men. And yet, it just doesn't seem to go away.
It was created to make it look as if these gay men are just got out of their bedroom after a session of gay sex, or are signalling to other gay men to have sex with them.
Even when the 70s to 90s aesthetic got revived by zoomers, they continue to sag their pants like homosexuals from the 2000's.
How do people even find that a comfortable way to wear their pants? You can't sit down properly because the waist band is digging into your bladder. You can't squat without the pants slipping below your ass and exposing your ass crack (and digging into your bladder and crotch). You can't spread your legs because the crotch area of the pants meant to support your balls is hanging near the middle of your thighs.
Not to mention, it just gives you a disproportionate look, where your torso is too long and legs are too short. There's nothing good that has come out of this trend, and yet it just doesn't seem to die.
