hello, I'm trying to dress better, I need help. does stuff like this have a name? am I homosexual if I like how it looks?
also it feels difficult as fuck to get out of my generic sneakers + jeans + tshirt combo I've been wearing for years. it's embarassing but I've just been wearing clothes my mom buys me. whenever I want to dress better I get too overwhelmed and abandon the idea. it feels like clothes are too expensive and like there are too many options and brands. I got no clue how to differentiate between the shit stuff and the good stuff and the prospect of spending more than £20 on something like a tshirt makes me furious. am I just not built for dressing well? is it a given that you need to spend £100-200+ on a good outfit?

for the more streetwear fits in your image they seem like japanese fashion. they're into oversized fits, but it has recently blown over to western zoomer fashion. i recommend uniqlo

thanks anon. I checked online and a lot of dark academia stuff does look similar to what I want to wear. although it does have a very gay name. to be honest what I like the most from all of these is the color palette.
