Are these decolorations on my cotton chinos normal or is it a sign of low quality product? If so, how to filter for higher quality? On the left is supposed to be black. On the right is supposed to be navy blue.

thats what happens to sulfur dye if it gets exposed to bleach or way too much sunlight. nah its not a sign of low quality but there's other ways to dye stuff black that don't turn that color.
