When did it become acceptable to wear trainers with suits? Can we ever recover?

You picked the absolute most disgusting example of a suit to go with the most hideous of sneakers. Must be Italian.

And to answer your question, it's never been acceptable.

The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak did it as well. It's a thing aging Millennials do because they think it makes them look cool, young, and hip. They think it makes their skinny suit look less formal.

It was very common with millennials around 2012 to 2015, everybody who went out of the house a few times during those years knows.
I don't see what's there to recover from, if you don't like it just dress differently.

>same fabric, color, pants, style
>worn together
That's a suit.

At that point they might as well just ditch the suit, it looks so unprofessional. Trudeau did that crap as well with the loudest sneakers possible.

I literally seen a 60 year old retired pig do that with those gawd awful black dress sneakers. Total retard.
