Gola Thread
How does /fa/ feel about the unsung champion of tennis shoes? How effay compared to Nike Adidas or Puma?
Sorry, Anon; I'm only aware of the existence of literally one or two styles of shoe from those 3 companies, over the course of my own nearly 40-years of experience. I've never even heard of "Gola" before.
I don't know the current market pricing, the material quality, the intended purpose of any of the LITERALLY HUNDREDS of different styles of sneakers those companies produce, nor can I give you a comparable opinion of what year or event you would intend to wear such a shoe with the insistence of "fashionable notice."
Those sure look like Adidas Gazelle, though. Not that I EVER look at someone else's shoe, anyway.

They look like a hybrid between gazelles and mexicos

They used to be third-tier sportswear growing up, but I was suddenly reminded of them by seeing their own store in an exclusive part of Barcelona, which was surprising. I guess they're a "retro" brand bought out and pumped up by a conglomerate.
