Why is there not a 3d modeling program with the exact same controls as forge mode in halo?
Forge mode is unironically the one of the most intuitive control schemes for manipulating objects in a 3d space. It would make 3d modeling much more accessible, at least to casual users.

I need AutoCAD and Sketchup pro from before the Trimble ages which can be 2015, 2016 or somewhere in that era. I know the standard answers from fags who never used the programs. This whole plane was an afterthought and thus it turned up not being subdivided properly. Now I want to manually subdivide into just grid according to vertical and horizontal vertice pairs. Basically to make all top vertices connect to corresponding bottom vertices, and the same for vertices on left and right. Knifing this manually is bothersome. Any ideas?

Expedition 33 Model Discussion Archived /3/
I'm digging around E33's models in the hopes of 3D printing Lune. I've already done this in other games with other models, so I'm familiar with making the models manifold, breaking them into parts that come together seamlessly, etc. I struggle with getting the characters to pose, and that's what I'm going to talk about here.

Files were extracted with FModel. You can get the unreal asset map on nexusmods right now. Game was made in Unreal 5.4. I'm editing in Blender, and I imported the .pskx and .psa with blender's native extension.

You can find the skeleton in the files at Sandfall/Content/Characters/Heros/Lune/SK_Lune_Placeholder.uasset
and the animation is at Sandfall/Content/Characters/Heros/Lune/Animations/BattleTurn/Lune_Idle_Base.uasset
for those who want to follow along.

I think the problem relates to the armature that comes with the skeleton in the .pskx, so I guess it's time to learn everything I can about armatures and posing models.

There's context:
Now i'm trying port models from game "Megaglest" To Warcraft 3 world editor. Megaglest's models was in format "g3d", and i have a lot of butthurt to open them. But finally i dd it. But there's a new problems:

I can open them in blender 2.90 with special add-on. I can play their animation, and their textures are correct. Anything is good, right?

But to open them in " Retera's model studio", or "Matrix Eater 3d", or in 3ds max, i need to convert them to other format. And there's the first trouble.

Format OBJ - Freely opening in any other program, but absolutely no animation.

Format FBX - I hear that he can save animation, but in the practice, programs can't open this file with this format.

And i sacrifice the animation, to open model in Retera's model studio.. But when i did this, model has no textures.. And i wonder why?

When i trying to forcely wrap textures on model, program claiming the error. And i was trying various formats. Blp2, png, mtl, but nothing ever happens and i CAN'T UNDERSTAND. PLEASE HEEEEELP...

I notice most beautiful eastern video game characters have this downwards pointed top lip (tubercle/procheilon?), and while you occasionally see it in whites it's way more common in asians. Idk if it evolved from diet, sexual selection, whatever, but it's a subtle but important part of cuteness in asian characters. Just check any game character you like to draw/model and you'll start noticing it. And conversely it's quite rare in western character design.

Comissionfags, have you ever dealt with revisions by a client? If so, how was it like?

I want to get into commissions but I worry that I won't be able to satisfy the client's needs. And worse case scenario: they ask for a refund if I cannot deliver to their standards.
If it were 2d, then it'd be way easier to revise again and again, but I understand that 3d is a completely different beast and that revisions aren't as easy.

What do you think is the most comfy platform to upload and organize your projects? Basically I'd like to:
* Create some kind of entry per project, with title, would be amazing to be able to manually set date from past for when you want to upload an old project
* Under this entry post screenshots/renders/files in form of images and videos and models
* Maybe some extra description field that allows leaving some extra notes and information on the project
* Maybe a comment section if someone wants to ask anything about it
* Maybe some kind of visibility setting that allows certain projects to only be visible to certain categories of people? For example I want to upload everything mostly just for myself to go through my stuff and get reminded of progress I made through time, but many of those projects are something that I probably wouldn't show to just anyone

Recommend please some good looking games combining 3d and pixelart. And I mean actual pixelart, not low-resolution photorealism of older games or glitchy gritty unfiltered noise of some newer indie games. Bonus points if they came up with smart ways to light/shade it dynamically (anything as cool as modern anime NPR lighting but for pixelart?), turbo based points if they have textures done in multiple grid sizes for LOD, which would be especially spicy with true pixelart. Oh and please don't say it's impossible to combine pixelart and 3d in a meaningful way. People said the same about anime as well.
