I go to my local gym for like 2 years and since the beginning I keep seeing some onions looking dudes training with their personal trainers and for those 2 years it looks like they havent built a single bit of muscles and theyre still doing their meme excercises on their meme weights

A lot of people have no idea how to push themselves or what it should feel like, so they never advance, they just sit and spin their wheels with light as weight because they feel some tiny token bit of resistance and erroneously believe that's enough.

The clients halfass the gym sesh and barely break a sweat, then go home and eat like 30g of protein for the day with 400g+ carbs, then complain they aren't seeing results.
