italians are generally quite healthy, often skinny, and far more attractive than the people nearly anywhere on earth, especially compared to the places where most people on this website post from (usa, uk, brazil, australia, canada, india etc)

Im italian. The romanticized idea of Italians that the world has is not exactly a lie but close to it. It's the Italy up to the year 2000.
Modern Italians are overweight or skinny-fat and we only look "slim" because generally our vast old population is in great health. Kids are fat, no one walks, no one practices sport, no one goes to the gym.
Italian are lazy people that drive a 5 minute walk.
Seriously check any EU stat, we are at the bottom for physical activity (actually, zoomers don't drive, work, train, party or fuck, what the hell are they doing??)

Just make it yourself. The store bought shit is full of garbage.

It's ridiculously easy to make and will taste 100x better fresh too. You can freeze them right after making them. A handy trick you can do if you want to make a big batch and not let the flavour get stale is put it in an airtight glass container, freeze it overnight, take it out and put it in the fridge first thing in the morning on the day you want to use it. Then freeze overnight again. You can keep it reasonably fresh and tasty for like 4-5 days.

From what I've seen and where I've been it varies a lot region to region. In Milan and Naples almost everyone was overweight. Rome and Turin were sort of middle of the road.
I've been to Genova and Liguria a lot though and the girls there are almost all slim in my experience. I was thinking it was probably because they go to the beach so much more often and don't want to be judged negatively.
