In my natty experience recomping is a meme, or at least it is unless you have good genetics.

I spent a whole year trying to recomp and I had nothing to show for it, I began the year looking like this >>76261342 (OP)
and I ended the year looking exactly like that with barely any progress, maybe my lifts went up a little bit but no more, if anything that was probably out of accidental bulking.

When I eat at maintenance my body doesn't say "damn, time to build muscle and lose fat because we trained", my body instead says "damn we got through the training and we have enough calories to survive well today so whatever lmao".

also yeah as a natty eventually you're gonna have to bulk or you're gonna be in purgatory for 10 years.

Damn you have dogshit genetics. I think bulking and cutting is honestly a meme if you train hard. I stopped lifting for like a year got kinda fat then decided I was going to get shredded. I figured that cutting and bulking is stupid so I just ate 3 meals a day of food I could never get tired of eating (egg whites, cream cheese bagel, blueberries etc) and just started training like an animal. Cardio every single day and meme bro split 4 days a week but always going to failure. Started out first month to month and half 6 foot 200 and didnโ€™t lose a pound but I lost a ton of fat. Now Iโ€™m shredding weight as well but still have tons of energy, way more than if I had done a meme cut. It feels like Iโ€™m losing fat way easier. Down to 192 and usually I would have started to lose more muscle and strength if I was following fitness influencers advice. Strength is still maintaining and sometimes going up (especially on weighted calisthenics) but cardio is increasing by an insane amount. Just eat the same food everyday and train like an animal. All this gay shit about you canโ€™t outwork a bad diet is honestly the opposite. You cant out eat bad training. The human body is a machine that can turn literal goyslop into art.

>Do 4/5 sets to failure per muscle group per day
>Eat +1.5g protein per kg bodyweight
>Train hard and push yourself every day
>Sleep well
There's no secret to it really. Learned a lot from Natural Hypertrophy, geoffrey verity schofield, dorian yates and mike mentzer. IMO, the most important thing that I barely see anyone doing at the gym is pushing to failure, and it's the main reason for people to look like dyels afters years of training.

I literally eat the exact same 3 meals everyday. The first month or 2 I was adding strength like crazy. By body transformed waist went way down leaned out but weight stayed the same. My main focus was increasing my cardio so I did that everyday. Now Iโ€™m still burning fat but my weight is also going down so my muscle gains have slowed. You can build muscle in a calorie deficit. And the more active you are the more muscle you will keep. The idea of gorging yourself or starving yourself to gain or lose weight is backwards. You should focus on increasing your activity and keeping food roughly the same.

Alright you fucking retard. Iโ€™ve gotten shredded eating 1600 calories a day and doing no cardio. I felt like shit lost a ton of strength and put weight back on after. Iโ€™ve also gotten shredded eating 2100-2400 and doing a moderate amount of cardio. I still felt awful and but better than lower calorie and I kept it off better. Now Iโ€™m not tracking food at all and just doing 1 hour + of cardio a day. I feel infinitely better, maintaining strength and losing fat much easier than I have ever before. This Reddit tier science based approach of weighing food decreasing calories by percents is completely backwards. You can literally eat whatever you want as long as you eat it consistently and if you train hard fat will fall off you while maintaining muscle. Dieting is what peasants do because they didnโ€™t have food. Arayan step warriors were only concerned with bettering their capabilities for war.

Let me guess. He bought into the compound lift meme and didn't do any isolation exercises for his arms or shoulders. Now he wonders why he has small arms.

If you want big muscles, you have to train them. All of them. They aren't going to get big just because squats or bench press or pullups or whatever theoretically hits them.

You don't need le meme science you just need great technique and know which muscles to fire and learn movement patterns on the lifts. Beyond that it's doing a lot of volume + frequency preferably on the big 3 lifts or variations of them. Then it is genetics of course but assuming average to above average testosterone levels and a normal skeleton build there is no excuse for piss poor progress other than self reflection.

Sometimes i get bigger on a cut and leaner on a bulk because in reality theres a lot of intracacy to your body and i realized in this instance my metabolism would vary and sometimes id be eating more optimally preworkout mostly and the day or 2 after lifting is way more important than 30min vs 1hr pwo and shit idk.

Like until i just ate zo much and often its too big to fail and ever be going catabolic/low insulin, even then technique is way more important but i digress.

You'll be a bit fluffy but you won't be fat by modern standards

If you have a lot of muscle you'd potentially look pretty good at 175cm/90kg

90kg and 176cm isn't a bit fluffy, even on my right-hand side picture I already have fat to lose and I was only 74kg
