>Advice for new runners
- Build up speed and mileage SLOOOOOWLY (start with 15 minutes, increase mileage at most 10% per week)
- It will feel like you're going slow, you are; don't worry about setting good times for a couple of months
- If you start to feel pain anywhere, stop and rest
- Don't try to copy what pros are doing. Do what feels natural
- Once you can comfortably roon 6 miles/10km, start thinking about a goal in terms of race distance and time, and look for a training plan for that goal (see below for suggested plans)

that's quite an obnoxious blue but pretty normal for running shoes I guess. I did absolutely refuse to buy that fucking highlighter orange color on nike zoom flys though. Went for the light purple ones instead because FUCK THIS DISGUSTING COLOR.

I notice that all the running shoes in my house so far basically are toothpaste colors lol. I guess it's like nitro flames which means it's fast.

Miles. I went from warm up week of walk/run to 17 miles in week 2 to 20 miles in week 3. Iโ€™m gonna step down to 17 miles this week and take full rest days and see how I feel. I think a sub-4 marathon is unrealistic but desu itโ€™s what Iโ€™m training for. right now Iโ€™m on target for 4:15-4:20 but I do have 18 weeks left to train.

had an altra and hoka bondi during the last 2 years. both gave me lower back pain. both were rather neutral heavy cushioned shoes.
years before i had two asics stability shoes that were fine. those were also doc approved for my specific flatfeet.
this shoe is after much research the model that gets the closest to those asics from about 10 years ago.
