I used to have the problem of no one wanting to talk to me and not having any friends.
Since I lost weight and got lean and big at the gym, people don't leave me the fuck alone. Like if I'm at the gym, people will just come up and talk to me, which I don't mind. But I'll do a single set and they'll come back and wanna talk or ask for advice and they'll ask for my Instagram, and if I give it to them they'll text me all fucking day just wanting to talk.

I wanna just say FUCK OFF, but I also don't want to be rude

i literally just changed gyms because i became the main character. i got sick of the fact that any time i go there literally 6am, noon, 6pm or midnight, i knew guys there.every single time guys come up to dab me and small talk whats up brooo, looking big broooo, fffuuarrkk thats a nice bench

lmfao one of my favorite sayings. It's so fucking true. I rotate through all the waffle houses in my area to avoid getting too comfy with any of the staff. I order close to the same thing every time, and it annoys the fuck out of me when they start to assume what I'm gonna order. Is it a problem that means anything? No but it pisses me off and that's all that matters. I order "a lot" of food, and I can hear the server & cook expressing surprise & disbelief that someone my size wants that much food... Again it means nothing but it annoys the fuck out of me. I don't want people getting comfy around me because they see it as an excuse to act EVEN MORE unprofessional. I've learned there's almost nothing to gain from shooting the shit with people either. They get dopamine, I get nothing. Maybe I'm autistic & weird as fuck, but I don't like getting too close to people. I inevitably notice things I don't ike and it makes me angry.

I cycle between gyms at least once a year because of this. Once you talk to anyone a single time they won’t leave you alone. Eventually you acquire a little entourage of people you feel obligated to smalltalk with which makes the workouts drag on longer and longer so I have to reset the board.

Genuinely it's fucking up my shit, even if I go to the gym with say my brother or my dad. I won't be able to get a good sesh in cause these people won't leave me THE FUCK ALONE.

I'll tell them "listen man, I ain't really gonna talk as I'm training with my dad/brother" and they'll STILL hang round, watch me lift, ask me questions about my lift. Like DUDE, take a hint and FUCK OFF.

I don't often get to train with my dad so it's one of the few times I actually get to see him. Being in my mind twenties and shit.
