What kind of doctor would ever recommend "bouldering" as an exercise? Get the fuck out of here, retard.

Just do exercises that don't put too much pressure on your spine? How would curls hurt your spine? How would BSS hurt your spine? How would pullups hurt your spine?

And maybe find a new doctor, since Dr Crab-In-A-Barrel is clearly clueless.

>Scoliosis
How sever is it anon? Cobb angle?
Doctors are quite often useless anon. Just don't do deadlifts nor barbell squats, do exercises with bench/back support, do slow bodyweight back extensions, use a belt when needed, strengthen your core and glutes to unload your back

severe enough to look like a cripple
not severe enough to be deemed unfit for service (except for paratroopers)
first time hearing of this Cobb Angle thing

> Doctors are quite often useless anon.
it's fugging horrible here
didn't do an x-ray, didn't even want me to take my shirt off (tbf you can clearly see it with a shirt on but still weird idk ...)
just glad i got a prescription for physio - will ask them what to do (they got a couple of swole guys working there)

Then you can lift anon, just work your way up from a small way and adjust or abandon an exercise if it strains your back

>first time hearing of this Cobb Angle thing
Anon, what kind of no-good doctor did you go to? That's how scoliosis is measured. Go get a proper diagnosis before making lifestyle decisions

From small weights***

>didn't do an x-ray
You will need one at least, or a CT scan

I'm sure you can do things like chest and shoulder exercises, crunches and leg machines no problem.

Get a reference to a psysio or a good orthopedic that'll tell you what you can and cannot do.

Obviously no DLs, no squats etc. Nothing that loads the spine vertically. Sorry for you messed up back bud. Maybe in the future there will be a cure.

You're literally lying, resistance training is a common recommendation for those with scoliosis

I've been told that I have "lean" in my back from my ESL massage therapist, which I think she means tilted spine.
How do you get something like scoliosis diagnosed? Ask for an x-ray from my family doctor or do you need a specialist to do it?

He thinks you'll end up some ego lifting tryhard that goes to snap city before he's even benching 265lbs natty, kek.
Find a doctor that will prescribe you lifting, or go back to your commie doctor if you don't believe me and ask about "push ups" and "pull ups" to see how his tune changes if he's so worried about a lawsuit should you start going for PRs each week, training like a strongman, eating like you'd be obese inside a month if you took a break from lifting.
Or if you took to lifting like David Goggins took to rooning and sucking cock. Where his doctors we're all "no, seriously your knees are fucked!" and he just kept on rooning. "No! David! your throat can't handle the strain anymore!" but he just kept sucking. That's the situation he's trying to avoid if he tells a mouse he can have a cookie and lift.

>how would curls hurt your spine
I can only imagine your dumb ass lurching forward while tossing your dumbells up to curl with zero tension
