How do you make your protein shake taste good? I've been trying a banana, protein powder, this expensive organic cacao powder which I'm not sure is worth the money, and the Breakfast Essentials from pic related. I was thinking of trying the Nurri one instead because it has less calories, less sugar, and 20g more protein compared to the other one. Or perhaps I should drop this stuff entirely and try something else?

If your shale doesn't taste good, then you need to buy from another brand, simple as that. in the past i've drunk a fair share of the nastiest shit. even had a pre-workout that tasted like fermented leaves and made me gag with every sip. Strawberry isolate was the worst fkung whey i ever tried with water, and i was so happy when that bag was finally empty, but i've found a cheap and delicious brand for many years now. Go on whey adventure anon.

30g Naked Whey Chocolate
a pinch of salt
Shake it for like 3 minutes because it's kinda gritty
...
The most delicious snack I'll have all day.
I'm not one to masturbate about organic ingredients but if you really scrutinized what goes into those goyslop drinks you may have a minor panic attack.

I've found it always taste good but
>milk
>peanut powder
>banana
>collagen
Tastes almost completely flavorless with either a very slight banana or peanut taste depending on how many bananas I put in.

I know that this board is full of >pic rel
but you have to have your head under a rock not to understand that some kind of food or additives are one-shotting everyone's metabolism left and right in modernity.
Here is what Amazon says is in the ingredients for Carnation Breakfast Essentials:
> canola oil
> fructooligosaccharides
> inulin
> cellulose gel and gum
> carrageenan
Again there is no hard evidence that any one of these is bad for you but you have to understand that 50-70 years ago we weren't eating this slop and people just looked better and more fuckable.
Are one of these drinks better than having a donut + starbucks 1000 kcal mocha frapp? Probably ... is there a solution that's better than both, yeah duhhh of course.
Do you want to take some agency for your life? IDK, let Michelle Obama and RFK Jr dictate what you eat.

I see it as a nutritional supplement, i.just gulp it down, it's not a tasty treat. Or just just have 2 cups of fairlife skim milk, less ingredients, 160 cals, 26 grams of protien

Im lactose intolerant so Sprouts vegan chocolate protein powder, a banana, walnut or chia seed & hemp hearts, and liquid egg whites. It doesnโ€™t have that chalky protein powder taste. Besides the protein powder. All these ingredients can be found in bulk at Costco.

1 scoop powder
I large banana
1-1.5 oz walnuts or 1.5 tbsp chia seed/1.5 tbsp hemp hearts
8 oz egg whites

The biggest problem is the sweeteners they put in whey. They ruin it. If it was just cocoa and whey i could add a banana and the fruit would balance the flavor.
As for goyslop this is the least worst, no sweeteners the lactase makes the milk taste sweet.

No. Look at the ingredients. Its powered milk, cocoa, some sugar and vitamins. Its as benign as you can get for a processed food.

Yup. They even make a version called light start that has about half the calories and way less sugar. The point is it's just powdered milk and some vitamins. The other guy is just trying to scare you.
