>cutting
>cant sleep
>low energy from poor calories and por rest
Is it even worth it? When does it get better? If I reach my goal weight will I suddenly have more energy or will I have become a zombie by that point?

If you are cutting so hard that you can't even sleep anymore maybe you should increase your intake a little bit. There is no point in torturing yourself like that.

Your caloric deficit is excessive. Modify it so that you are at a deficit that doesn't cause these issues.

You just have to endure to reach your goal weight. Bad sleep could be from training too hard while cutting. I got over this by eating big meal of carbs and fat before bed.

True. Yesterday I only ate 1200calories. I see more progress on my weight loss when I eat like this but damn it makes me feel like a raisin.

This is my TDEE calculations. I do exercise 5 days a week. If I bumped it to 1700 do you think that would be ok?

1700 will definitely be more manageable than 1200.

I will say my TDEE is very similar to yours at ~2000cal, sedentary lifestyle, gym 6x/week. I used to do 1200 cals but upped it to 1500cal and am seeing acceptable results so far. Try that before going all the way to 1700 and also make sure your meals are fairly distributed in terms of calories (I.e. not all your calories at dinner time), is my advice.

Cutting does suck and you will feel weak but it was never easy for anyone. At the same time, know your limits. If itโ€™s affecting your sleep that is a big big no no.

I feel like i dont know my limits anymore. I know im older than before but shit hits much harder now at 33 than at 28 or even 30

I'll try adding a bit more food. Should I eat this extra food before bed or at dinner? Usually I eat dinner, workout, then go to bed. If I eat more at dinner id have more energy to workout. If I eat after I workout id get more protein synthesis? Maybe? Idk.

I love it when people say shit like "Dude you're cutting too much, only do a 250kcal deficit!"
Where the fuck do you think a deficit 1kg/2,2lbs cut per month will get you if you have to lose 15kg/30lbs?
Why do you think advanced bodybuilders start their cut 24 week/6months before the show? And these guys start at 20% or 18% bodyfat.
Cutting is never easy and doesn't suppose to be, anybody that tells you otherwise is lying to you.

Typically eat some pasta in the morning. This week its pasta and tuna. Some chicken and eggs around noon. And dinner varies but i usually eat at 5pm. This week its biscuits and hot dogs.
If I ate after the gym that would be a 10pm meal

My workout routine is pretty simple. PPLPPxx and I do 2 compounds to failure and 2 heavy accessories to failure followed by a 10 min incline walk on the treadmill
