I am logging pretty much everything on my net dairy app, perhaps I miss a packet of sauce or 2 no more than 20 cals every now and again but for the most part I have been religious about this shit for the past 3 months, I even go to the gym and do some lifting, nothing serious just enough to get solar soar a bit.

You are still in muscle building phase you are losing fat but gaining a bit of muscle so it's mitigating your losses (Which is good) Trust me, It is MUCH healthier to lose weight at the rate you are going at. the rate will begin to increase as your body changes.

8 Pounds in 3 months is 32 pounds in one year. Which is a good amount. You're 6ft1 at this rate you'll be 230 by the end of the year. that's good.

You probably should be eating a bit more, actually. Not eating enough makes it harder to lose weight because you're metabolism slows down to compensate for your lack of calories, basically your body tries to preserve itself, which is commonly referred to as "starvation mode".

I'd say eat between 2,000 and 2,500 calories a day, as few as you can manage without feeling like shit/starving/dizzy spells and whatnot. But also, skimming through the thread I haven't seen you mention what you're actually eating, which does matter. Anyone who buys into CICO is an idiot, different foods have different effects on your metabolism, your blood sugar, your hormones, etc. which influences your fat loss rate. In other words, you should be eating healthy.

My recommendation would be lots of canned chicken and eggs for protein, hard cheeses for fats, and healthy bread for carbs. If you get cravings for something sweet, keep some frozen fruit on hand (whatever kind you like) and microwave that shit for 30 seconds to a minute to thaw it a bit. Dark chocolate is also a good one.

Also, walk as much as you can. Walking is great for burning fat, not just because it burns calories but because of the good effects it has on your overall health. And get some sun every day if you can too.

Fat loss takes time, so try to be patient. Just stay consistent and don't give up. Once you start seeing progress it will get easier and easier.

you have a high and low end weight variance, you want to be "bloated" in that your insulin and salt isnt low so you hold on to more muscle and lose more fat when you are in fat burning mode. It is also far easier to get lean the more muscle you have, just dont cut hard for over a month so you dont actually lose muscle or even just eat maintenance or lower because your body lowers your test so it requires less calories(starvation mode).

If u ain't going to bed hungry it ain't working, I never counted calories and went from 170lbs to 120. Lifting hard 6x a week, cardio 3x a week and a 24hr fast on Sunday with fasted cardio in the morning, low carb diet, I believe at the end I was eating a whooping 900cal a day at 5'6, everytime I weighed myself in the morning I was down weight, never plateaud, it's fatty cope, get used to the hunger she's your best fr/iend.
Diet was literally chicken, eggs (1 bread/day max), rice, sweat potato, broccolis, minced meat.

You don't need to eat 2300-2600 calories per day unless you want to maintain your weight. It's recommended to have 2000 calories per day right? But that's for adult men who are active and actually do shit.
I'm a fat bastard who spends all day driving around for work and primarily spend my free time gaming. If you're the same then you likely need less than 2000 calories per day.
At 1500 calories you can have either two 750 calorie meals per day or three 500 calorie meals per day.

As a slop connoisseur, I'll eat two frozen jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches. Each one is 400 calories, totaling 800 calories. I'll also have a sugar free monster (the white one (sugar free because it tastes better)).
I skip lunch since I'm at work and the primary option as someone who drives around is fast food. FAST FOOD IS A TRAP. You can get some decent slop like the Taco Bell cantina chicken soft tacos, those are like 210 calories and taste pretty good. Most shit is like 1100 calories for a burger. If you go to a fast food place seriously look at the menu because its fucking crazy.
For dinner I'll usually "make" something like having some frozen Costco spinach raviolis and a breaded chicken breast. It's like 700 calories, plus with a small gatorade which is another 80 calories.
All together its like 1600 calories. It's not a huge amount of food but its enough.

It WILL be hard to lose weight through calorie counting and eating at a deficit. When I first started doing this shit I would get a bit shaky, dizzy and cold sometimes but I just powered through it. If you do it in a routine fashion of eating at around the same time every day then you WILL eventually get used to it. I wanted to give up within the first couple weeks but now its not a big deal.

Eating at a deficit you can still eat slop, but you will have to eat less of it. A bowl of chow mien and orange chicken is like 1100 calories before adding a drink. You can choose to eat less of your meal, or you might substitute it for something less sloppy like getting their super greens instead of chow mien. Swapping teriyaki chicken in instead of orange chicken drops it even more. You could have the greens and teriyaki for like 700 calories or the chow mien and orange chicken for 1100.

If you keep looking at calories, you will learn what food is high calorie and what is low calorie. Eventually you will get to the point that your eating habits will get better simply because of wanting to eat more without eating more calories. I recently made cabbage soup because it turns out you can eat a fuckload of cabbage soup and its basically no calories.

Just find out what shit you like to eat that's reasonable for a meal, eat at a deficit every day and eventually things will get better and easier.

I started doing 30 minutes of cardio post lifting and that has really started to cut the fat. I've dropped down a shirt size in 3 months and before that I wasnt losing or gaining weight. My family has noticed a huge change and everyone is asking if ive lost weight. I have always been a weight lifter but recently my metabolism isnt what it used to be. Cardio seems to have pushed me back the other direction.
