The point of eating a salad to lose weight is that it does have(shit tier levels) micronutrients, but theres not a lot of calories in it compared to having something like french fries. Even putting 2 tbsp of ranch on your salad will more than double the amount of calories. Lord know no one is putting only 2 tbsp worth of ranch on, so that 100 calorie salad is now close to 400+ calories which defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
