you eat spaghetti with
vegetables -----> no lysin
meat ----> complete by its own, at this point the protein in the pasta is useless then
some parmesan ------> yeah it has lysine but again cheese is a complete protein by itself

no, the only solution would be to eat beans every single time you eat pasta
no one eats pasta with legumes (maybe minestrone sometimes or pasta e fausl)

first of all, only 10% of italians are obese, but we have a growing overweight population. And immigrants are usually fatter, like the turks, moroccans and romanians.

To some degree, but also portion sizes. Italians eat less per sitting. Part of this is because Italians also never exercise, so they burn less calories.

italian pasta is very different from bergerland noodles. in italy all pasta is freshly made with eggs and farina00 grade flour. farina00 is the finest grade of ground flour made from a soft wheat that is low in protein (and thus gluten), GODs wheat so to speak. 00 grade flour in italy is cheap and commonly available so this isnt a rare ingredient to guidos. the rest of the world is pasta poisoned by all purpose flour aka semolina and water dough(no eggs at all), which comes from durum that is basically the high fructose corn syrup version of wheat (high protein and highest gluten). bergers are always bloated from pasta bcuz of boxed noodles made with semolina, if they simply bought fresh made egg pasta they would have zero carb/gluten issues same as guidos. bergers also add a fkn ton of sugar to tomato sauce which doesnt help, their alfredo is better than wops bcuz of dairy cow quality (most dagos just melt down fancy parm onto wet noodles, no cream). meatballs also differ greatly, in merica they straight angus whereas bootland makes swineloaf balls from pork and dried focaccia

Yes it is. Of the "essential aminos" pea protein is lower in methionine but you can make that up by eating nuts, grains and even tofu. It does have methionine, though, just in a lower quantity than it has the other ones. In all, pea protein is a pretty good supplement. Like whey protein, it's not a meal replacement, just a supplement to your diet.

Barilla isn't something special and basically any other Italian brand of pasta is going to be better e.g. Rummo. On the other hand, Barilla hates faggots and they were quite open about it which is based.
>Guido Barilla, president of Barilla, said on an Italian radio program Wednesday that he wouldn't feature same-sex couples in his company's commercials because he prefers the "traditional" family.
I think they were later forced to implement gay propaganda in their ads/pasta box artwork. I didn't check this again so I am not 100% sure.

It doesn't take much to use up a small jar of tomato sauce, and you can even use it with meat.
Anyways you can basically put anything in pasta, just use your imagination.
Heat up a pan, put in a bit of olive oil and cook a bit of thinly diced onion on it until it's golden, then throw in the tomato sauce, a can of tuna, some olives, a pinch of salt and spices to taste (maybe some hot pepper powder, maybe some basil), mix it well and let it thicken on lowish heat.
There's your pasta sauce.
You can boil some broccoli, then blend them with a splash of milk, a handful of nuts, some black pepper, some nutmeg, you'll get a nice cream that should also go great with pasta.
Try making a carbonara, it's very simple.
The world is your oyster, really. Look up some of the dozens of italian recipes for some inspiration and adapt them to your tastes.
A neat general trick with sauces is to make them in a big pan, then when your pasta has been cooking for a few minutes take some of the water from its pot and throw it in the sauce pan (the added water will evaporate but the gluten that had been released by the pasta will thicken your sauce), then drain the pasta about half a minute too early and throw it in the sauce pan and mix it there for a bit on low heat

It's worse on children though because they're supposed to be growing, I remember this kid in kindergarten ending up in the ICU because his parents were hard vegans and apparently he was so malnourished he almost fucking died. >in italy all pasta is freshly made

bugiardino.

It boils down to the quantities, and the other stuff you eat during the day and the people's habits. I have lived both in italy and burguerland. In burguerland people are bombarded with goyslop with corn syrup everywhere and there is not a full awareness about it. People in Italy tend to avoid shit food in general. Also, portion size is not the same. Last, but not least, Italians are almost always spazzed out on a million espresso shots and walk pretty much everywhere since the traffic is insanely bad while the average burguer uses a car to drive to the toilet and back.

>What's the catch?
it's more expensive than regular pasta
here's a giga protein recipe I make with it
you will need:
>box of pasta
>chicken breast
>2-3 lemons
>1 head of garlic
>2 Fresno chillis
>1 tub 0% milk fat green yogurt
> high quality olive oil
how to make it:
>start boiling your pasta water
>peel and roughly chop garlic, cut chillies into small bits and remove seeds if you don't like it hot
>while that's going salt & pepper your chicken breast than fry in a wide skillet
>add lemon zest, juice, salt & pepper to Greek yogurt, mix it up
>once chicken is cooked remove from skillet and turn heat down, add a bunch of olive oil
>add diced chillies, scrape with wooden spatula to get fond in, fry for a bit, then garlic, turn heat off and let the residual heat cook garlic
>add pasta to water if you haven't already
>once skillet has cooled add yogurt to the garlic chilli oil, mix well to combine
>drain pasta, cut up chicken and add along with yogurt sauce
>serve immediately
this is mostly plagiarized from a /ck/ post I saw years ago
