>>76279242 (OP)Nah, I'm currently at 225lbs 5x5 (and I weigh 165 before someone says that's just because I weigh 300 lol) and I only bench once a week. just make sure every set actually counts, there's zero point in doing a gorillion reps and sets with some baby weight, go intense
and work on your technique too: shoulders back, leg drive, and all that. I wouldn't suggest benching 3 times a week because you'll just end up neglecting everything else
