started with a similar looking spot on my abdominals, doctor thought it was a rash, year later my entire stomach and back are spotty and other doctor diagnoses it (correctly) as TV. If it spreads, you are fucked. Treatment is over the counter and fearly cheap. Obviously I don't KNOW but that's how it started with me. Get ahead of it while you can

Take a picture of it (a clearer, well lit one). In a month, take another exactly identical picture. If there's any way it has gotten "worse", notify your doctor and he will look at it and may refer you to a dermatologist. Dermatologists are 100% autismos but they will tell you in 30 seconds if it's a potential problem and they'll look over the rest of your body in less than 10 minutes. Honestly, I just did it for my wife's peace of mind for something like this, but it was much easier than I anticipated.
