You can just not deadlift. Its one of the most taxing cns compound there is, and gasses me the fuck out so while I used to tolerate it, i dont do it now.

>3x10 deadlift
Never do more than 5 reps per set for deadlift. It's not a hypertrophy exercise.

I dont get why it could possibly more tiring than other exercises. you go to squat position. you push your butt back. you lift thing up. repeat

it's so fucking easy. why do I feel more tired than squat?

I guess proper technique is the only answer i can give you, As for what you gained from it, the only non meme answer there is is functional strength. Leaning down and picking things up bracing your whole back and legs is a very common thing people do on the daily.
You improve my progressive overloading like anything else.

>why do I feel more tired than squat
cns fatigue, i already told you.
Engaging all that muscles in the same time means your brain is working overtime trying to recruit all the motor units necessary to pull the weight up.

why would you ever do 3x10. Deadlift is most effective doing 1x5 or 3x5. I always do 1x5 of my max with 2 sets to warm up
If you want to do high volume deadlifts, go do RDLยดs instead

I just realized I did this. so I did RDL instead of deadlift? thought they were one thing. but what I did different from this pic is I actually go all the way to just 1 inch above the floor. so there's a big feel in the hamstring. and I think my stance is wider
