>>76299485 (OP)Imagine how small, weak, and feminine OP is. Almost unfathomable.
>>76299485 (OP)It's certainly not the best. It's the easiest. It's what you do when you feel terrible and have no desire to squat but go to the gym anyways. I do like them though.
No one wants to work hard. All these squat variations are just extra work. Just try regular squats for 5 hard sets once a week. The rep range doesn't matter, just go into each set like a samurai rushing wildly to their death. If you really have some gas in the tank afterwards, some belt squats, leg press, or hack squats are fine. If you are really honest with yourself and pierce through the heavens you probably will just have enough for some leg extensions and hamstring curls.

>>76299546you know that any compound can be done to exhaustion, right? retard
>>76299560None of them work as well as a regular squat
95% of the results

>>76299560People who talk about lifting 'to exhaustion' are almost always tiny
>>76299804I feel more like they have fragile egos and try to fit into groups, it's just a variation, a tool, use it (or not) however fits your training
>>76300043never tried it, how good is it for back pain and glute activation?
>>76300068Not great for glutes, but it doesn't put much pressure on your back if your form is tight. If you have back pain, belt squats and bulgarian split-squats are the way to go. I injured my lower back a few months ago and still saw gains while doing those exercises.
>>76299539of course i don't do belt squats when i'm feeling good. i do real squats.
>>76299485 (OP)i thought bottom pic was squatting in the curl rack
