I'm in the 11th week of my cut and I've lost 11kg so far. I've been feeling super unmotivated to go to gym for the last 3 weeks. I managed to make lifting a habit and I didn't need motivation to go lifting, I normally love working out and it's really fun for me. But in the last 3 weeks lifting has lost this fun for me. I just don't wanna lift so bad and when I do lift it feels like a chore, it's super exhausting and just not fun at all.
Is this normal? Is it a side effect of being in a caloric deficit?

Try having a week off lifting. If you come back after that and still have no energy, try lowering the volume

doing shit when it's not fun and just doing it anyway is the most important time to just keep doing it

Take some rest days. I always take a 4 days to a week break whenever I feel burnt out. Just dont overeat and know you'll go back next monday

lower the volume and increase the intensity
or just do cardio instead

Oh, that might be my problem. I've been trying to keep the volume and intensity the same and I ussually try to train with high intensity -> going to and beyond failiure on most lifts.
My bory is starting to ache in areas I've never experienced pain in
So I should decrease my volume?

The problem is that my routine has been kinda shit in the last 3 weeks. I had to study for the final exam at college and had to complete my bachelors thesis and I get easily stressed, so I was insanely stressed and that also seems to have drained my energy and strenght a lot.
I used to train 5 times a week with cardio on rest day and now I train like 3 times a week and I do more cardio. I don't want to take another rest week because I already skipped training for 5 days before my finals

yeah definitely, and while you're cutting, avoud 100% max effort sets
i'm cutting too and had to drop my volume and intensity, although my frequency stays the same
your body doesn't have enough energy to recover fast enough from your lifting sessions right now
keep cutting and lower your intensity, volume, and frequency, to where your workouts feel stimulating/difficult, but not requiring 100% maximum effort
when you're bulking or maintaining in the future, you can pick up the intensity and volume again
i've been lifting for ~9 years now and this is my experience while cutting

I'm 6'1 and currently weigh 186lbs. I'm probably between 13-15% bf, can't really tell. Picrel are my stats. My chest is pretty weak compared to my back, because I'm not as consistent with push training as with pull training. And I train legs pretty infrequently which is shitty. I don't have access to a squat rack rn so my only option is doing high rep squats with lowe weight, which is hella boring, so I just go cycling on leg days, but that's probably shitty too. What's your opinion?
I know I'm still pretty weak, my routine could be improved a lot. I'm just surprised that I don't find lifting fun anymore.
And my diet is mostly
>skip breakfast
>Chicken or some other meat with potatoes for lunch
>Skyr with marmalade and oats as a snack
>Bread with cream cheese, meat, cheese and tomatoes for dinner
>Protein shake with a little walnuts as the last meals
My daily caloric intake is something between 1600-2300.

OK well go to the gym and do your best. Start small and work your way back up or take the week off to really decompress as it sounds like you haven't had time to settle out the stress of finals
