>muscle memory
>your muscles just magically โ€œrememberโ€ to grow huge again after 2 years off training
Is there a bigger meme than this?

same reason why if you've been a fat fuck, your body will know exactly what to do to make you become a fat fuck again. In the most efficient manner possible.

I'd been disabled for a year and I remember literally a month in I had almost all my strength and muscle back. My fat % was a different story :(

Correct, the nuclei and instructions never really go away so your body still knows how to make the muscle, you just have to give it a reason to do it.

It sounded like pseudoscience to me at first and I did not believe it, until I experienced it myself. Muscle memory is 100% a real thing and the closest thing to natty roids.

it's a lot easier for your body to use existing fat cells than make new ones.
