I have pain in my shoulder/rotator in some positions and in my neck. What are some best upper body mobility/stretching/flexibility routines to help with that?

Go see a physio therapist.

Pain is likely not a mobility issue, but rather your shoulder not moving correctly from muscle imbalances.

Lack of flexibility is usually expressed via tightness not pain.

Get yourself an MRI before anything else. You want to get an idea of what you're dealing with. Go to a physical therapist afterwards. Bring them the mri results. Keep discipline for your appointments with them. Dont let them talk you into surgery or meds. PT is the best starting care method.

Active stretches. Basically active movements, often with weights etc.

For example just lifting weights with proper form is LITERALLY stretching, because you want to have stretch position for your muscles.

All meta data has proven that long term modulation of tissue requires 4 minutes weekly of static hold to show any meaningful results in mobility or pain reduction.
They have gone further to prove that sets longer than 30 seconds don't provide any additional benefit. As it's about the total volume over a week than any given day.

Once again she is a fucking woman.
A woman can go from no split to splits within a week or two. Something that takes men months and sometimes years to do.

If you're not passive (gravity) stretching, you're wasting your time.

depends on what your issue is. if it's related to internal rotation, do corrective stretches and exercises for internal rotation. if it's due to labrum damage, you're fucked.

anything you can do to correct imbalances or strengthen the entire shoulder capsule will pay dividends in the future. look on YouTube it's all there. good luck faggot.
