i think it's a bit more complicated than that. you have to lift to total failure, devastating failure, absolute and utter failure. 'one set' not really, it's like as many sets as it takes before you can't lift your arms anymore. at least, i think that's how it works.

i'm just not ready for level of commitment yet and neither are my joints and tendons. we're getting there though. i'll do one set to failure until i feel comfortable doing more.
