How do you keep going? Lately i've been feeling like i'm doing same thing over and over again. All these years feeling like i was running in a circle. I don't know maybe it's my ego, i have had high expectations. Like i'm not dissapointed in my gains but i wonder how long do i need to be doing this? Till i die?

Been lifting for about 16 years now. Change up your program, set new goals, that's the only way you'll enjoy lifting for this long. The worst thing that killed my motivation over the years was hitting 4 plates on bench for the first time. Was in a funk for like 4 months after that since I had been chasing the goal for close to 10 years. Decided to do a marathon shortly after and that fixed my funk since I had something new to chase.

Currently preparing to do the Canadian Death Race in 3 years while maintaining most of my strength/muscle mass

Change things up. Do more fun things. Also helps to socialize with the others at the gym.

I have been training for 17 years. Due to injuries I actually just broke through a 5 year squat plateau. I just like to throw on some eurobeat and kill it. If your results suck you need to work harder. Treat these workouts like they matter.

I don't go to gym, i live in countryside near mountains and it's very lonely here.
