Extreme fatty here
I've gotten into the horrible cycle of doing good during the weekdays then binging and being lazy on weekends, undoing my progress and meaning I never lose weight
How do I break this cycle?

Last day you get a single 3 hour eating window where you can have whatever you want, but only after a workout. Set a timer.

Don't bring food in the house that doesn't fit your diet. Find your healthy/filling comfort food. Count calories and get autistic about it.

For me, I committed to eating 50-75% my usual portion size. Eat whatever I want, but only eat 75% for a home meal and only 50% for fast food.

Same. I get bored then want to drink, which makes things fun. When I drink, decision making goes out the window and I eat a shit ton. I think a good thing to do is break your routine. So, whatever you do for fun while drinking, so me is gaming on PC, you need to switch that up and do something new. Your brain has rewired itself a bit to associate drinking with what you probably used to find fun without drinking. Personally, I go for walks and stuff in the evening to get out of the house. If I can make it to 10 when the liquor store closes, I'm good. Think about it, I mean REALLY think about it, do you want to be a fat disgusting slob forever? Also, ask yourself, did I get fatter, stay the same, or get smaller today? That's a better way of thinking of it instead of thinking about how it's going to take a whole year probably to look decent.
