>deloading

Deloads were invented by eastern european lifters who were training 7 days a week 8 hours a day

Deloading as a westoid lifter doing a typical brosplit = kek

Probably you should eat more for a week instead of "deloading".

If you don't need a deload you aren't working hard enough

For the first time in my life I have a lower back injury. I was doing cable rows with a weight I can do 10-12 reps with and for some reason I felt something pop like my spine was separating but without the noise in my lower back. I stopped immediately and it was difficult to walk and my back hurt. I needed ibuprofen to sleep that night. 3 days later it doesn't hurt anymore but now I'm scared to lift.

Took me 8 weeks of training 2 hours a day 6x a week with 40-50 sets per muscle group per week to start backsliding progress.

>>76315232
Better to push yourself hard enough that you need to deload rather than to lift like a bitch.

This gif looks different. I swear it used to be a guy approaching a girl and getting body blocked by a fatty.

It's called periodization and peaking anon, there is a reason why every single Olympic WL program beyond absolute novices has peak phases and deloads

periodization is useless for hypertrophy. And i'm pretty sure that the retard doing 40-50 sets per muscle sure as shit doesnt care about perfomance

only the bulgarians trained that much and they didn't believe in deloads.
