So, yes, 1 gram of meat is better than than 1 gram of lentils, if you only care about growing muscles.
The problem is that the whole premise is flawed because we don't need as much protein as the meat industry lobby wants us to believe.
You can easily reach the amount of protein (and amino acid combination) you need for optimal muscle growth by eating a combination of plants, beans, lentils, etc.
It's well documented that eating excess amounts of protein is a health hazard, no matter the source of the protein. Also that fiber is good and saturated fats are bad, which means you should probably be eating mostly plants if you want to be healthy.
