its called vanity lifting they film themselves because they dont want to look weak and it gives them a pump if you've ever filmed yourself lifting obviously you would want to succeed while having the most weight on the bar, over thyme this leads to you being obsessed with how much weight is on the bar and you slowly start cheating to look cooler with more weight on the bar
