i have been sitting at the computer my whole life. around 4 years ago i started going to the gym. for the past 1.5 years it was consistent. thought not many gains.
can't feel my back (especially lower traps and rhomboids, middle back basically), upper traps always work instead of shoulders, and they overtake even on chest days.
only this week I found out about this scapula shit. how come no one told me this fucking shit that you're supposed to stabilize your scapula in many exercises?

It's not that people aren't saying it. It's that they're saying a lot of things that don't matter too. You need to focus your attention on what does. The first thing that matters is learning to do the compound lifts correctly. I would recommend only reading starting strength stuff until you realize rippetoe is right, then when you realize all the things he's wrong about you just do 5/3/1 and read /plg/ threads, then when you see how retarded they are you join the doggcrapp cult. And never go to youtube ever.

You should probably start checking out some therapeutic exercise yt channels just to get some basic muscle group activation movements down. I did this 6 months into lifting and got doms in the strangest of places from movements that looked piss easy.
