Ever since I stopped washing my hair daily, its gotten better for me.
It still itches but I no longer get such massive patches, and when I do wash my hair (like once every 2 weeks) I first wash a couple times with baby shampoo and then with some specific shampoo.

I cured my psoriasis when I stopped eating all mild products for a month due to being broke.
It also comes bakc when I eat too much palm oil shit, I'm convinced psoriasis in most people is just an allergy to a thing they always use, like some food or shampoo or maybe dust in their home.

well, my immune system is shit, but genes express in an environment.
I used to live in a dusty house full of old books, and ate a LOT of milk. I can digest it fine, but apparently I was allergic to it.
Once I stopped breathing dust and eating milk, all of it was gone, and mine was BAD. Like, loosing half my hair before 25 bad.

wash your hair properly
in my 20s I had a bad hygiene and a bit longer hair and got this literally like in the picture, was an awful experience
fixed it over time by using shampoo more
then 10 years later I get this brilliant idea to wash my hair only with water and get this again. shampoo every day fixed it same as before

I get it pretty bad on my dick. So bad that sex is impossible. Even walking made it bleed. I'm also circumcised which I suspect is a factor because it's on the scar tissue and head.
The only thing I found that got rid of it was tacrolimus ointment and skyrizi injections. Shit's expensive though, like $25,000 per shot, fortunately I have good insurance.

I got psoriasis (not heavy, not mild, just patches here and there) and sometimes it can get pretty bad, my main tips:
> Use the lotions you have prescribed when you get flares, otherwise they just keep getting worse
> Full shave, it helps the scalp to breath and apply the lotion more effectively
> Eat well, I can corelate bad flare ups with eating and drinking like shit
> Sun and sport are your friends
> Stress is a factor too
> Treat the dick spots asap because they hurt like hell during sex otherwise

Hang in there, it's pretty shitty to have but it could be worse

Go to a dermathologist. Psoriasis is not a skin disease, it's an autoimmune disease that needs to be immunomodulated via medication, if you postpone the treatment by only attacking the skin symptoms, the risk for developing arthritis and cardiovascular disease is gonna be much, much higher.
Best of luck, and please go see a derma/reumathologist.

Cutting wheat reduced mine a ton and just washing my hair with a mild anti-dandruff shampoo keeps it at bay, though it tends to get worse in the winter or if my hair grows too long. I no longer use ketoconazole/nizoral as it really dried my scalp/hair and it doesn't cure anything at the end of the day since it always comes back.

The only thing I've found that fixes it for some time, is going to THE BEACH. The combination of salty water + sun gets rid of it for months, but it comes back eventually when winter rears its head.

So yeah if you can live near a beach all year round maybe it'll fix it.

My nigga, Nizoral is the key. Try that shit out. It's expensive as hell but I used to have scabs I'd pick and itch at and when it got hot or humid it would itch to fuck. Had this condition for 15 years before I went to a skin cancer clinic for a check up and the doc told me it's probably just a fungal thing. Shit it was the same with my face and finding out after 10 years of a flaking itching red face that I just had rosacea. One tiny tube of the medicated creme and 6 weeks later it has been out of my life since then. For real OP or anyone else with this shit, it's like finding out that yes, you have a fungal or genetic problem and doctors can and will be able to diagnose that shit pretty easy, it's there fucking job dude. Else just go with shit that doesn't work and go back to living in itchy hell for years on end.

I was just bathing for 10 minutes in the chemical-water-mixture and then bathing for 1-3 minutes in UV-light.
the doctor did everything. she told me the main chemical is found in Heracleum-plants.
the chemical makes your skin much more succeptible against UV-light and they were using a certain wavelength band in the UV-spectrum
my skin looks like 95% the same as before I got psoriasis, and its been 5 years since I got that treatment

>I'm convinced psoriasis in most people is just an allergy
Correct, and so is eczema and some variants of asthma.,.... for as you said... most people

The problem is when its peanuts, US wheat treatment agents(and thereby all bread and pastries), trace oils, milk, or anything that could be omnipresent. Or cat or dog dander.
Which is then complicated by the mechanic where the body only correlate immune reactions to exposure, meaning long term allergen exposure in combination with a allergy will also make you more allergic to other things.

All is basically fine and dandy until your peanut psoriasis develops into cat eczema, and then you risk developing another thing or the same if you get allergy to dust mites.

Yes. You can get your tonsils removed and it may alleviate some symptoms. Typically it works only if it was associated with a heavy cough at some point. My brother finally had his tonsils removed and we got it approved by showing the study and my brothers terrible cough (doctors thought it was asthma but they also couldn't diagnose the psoriasis either until he was 19.)

OP don't listen to retards, look into Copellor injection for psoriasis (80 mg)
It works like magic
it's costly though and you'll need it every few months but it completely made my skin normal

I think so
Sure there are working medications (just gotta find which one - maybe not an option if you're an amerigoy unless you're rich af), but some people just resolve it on their own through lifestyle changes

Dad had it at 50, doesn't any more
Old school buddy had it when growing up (bubble boy tier), completely clear of it now

washing hair with vinegar once a month was the only thing that cured dandruff for me. tried dieting, anti dandruff shampoos, nopoo, ect...
very hard water is probably the cause for mine.

I could try quitting milk products but it's a very fundamental part of my diet. Whey, yoghurt, milk, cheese

i went to an Immunologist and he said there was nothing he could do because it wasnt an allergy.
well he did say he could do more tests for more allergies but refused to say what the tests were or how much it would cost or what i would have to do or anything really

then went to a dermatologist and he gave me some ointment to apply and it helped(not fixed) right away
so from my experience when it comes to psoriasis its pointless to go to an immunologist.
maybe i just got a shit one idk
