Yesterday I learned the hard way that my trap training regimen is absolute dogshit.

The one machine I use for it was taken and then I just stood there like an idiot not knowing any alternative to do. 5 minutes later I ended up doing Smith Upright Rows but apparently that doesn't even work the traps and only made my front delts more sore lmao

They are the most braindead muscle to train because you don't even need to have them move to stimulate growth.

well no, u have to have brain to figure out not to bob head forward which uses your neck craning to perform the motion instead of traps, sternocleidomastoid and levator scapulae when u make double chin and do it

funny, i came to the same conclusion, upright rows, lateral raises, facepulls - it's all front delt

I do upright rows with dumbbells and I have never felt like they work my front delts. I do them ATHLEAN-X style (DO THIS) and I actually really like them.
