I want to be able to plank for an hour straight.

How long will it take me to be able to do this if I can currently only plank for two minutes?

There's boomers out there planking for hours. I doubt it will take very long once you realize that it's not a real excercise and you only dropped at minutes because your brain thinks you're supposed to.

Out of curiosity I read a bit about those people that do the longest plank n shit

They train it alot yeah but I guess a big thing is teaching the body to be more relaxed and not tense up during the plank so it's a less rigorous exercise, like holding the plank but you just kinda chilling

No idea how you achieve this outside of daily plank training or even mutiple times daily, fucking calisthenics

Personally my best record is 7 minutes, was years ago when I cared about it for bragging rights during swim practice

they fake the plank like those bench pressers that just have the mini ROM. instead of getting in a position where the plank hits their abs they get in one that doesn't

Nowhere. That's why a 62 year old held one for 8 hours.
>and how is that better
It's not better. It's worse. Worse than a plank lmao.

You should curl a 1lb dumbell for 10,000 reps next.

It is an exercise and you're a dipshit
>>76353057
No they're not faking it dipshit, they're learning more control and only tensing what they need to. Like so many retards keep tension all through their arms when you're just resting on your elbows.
>>76353419
That you think just because an old person can do it, it must be bad, really shows how fucking dumb you are. Planking is literally the best core exercise in existence. It even trumps training sit-ups for a sit-ups test.
