>>76358504nta, but kinda yes. being a trained "fighter" in a street fight, or any kind of full contact sparring, is a gross disadvantage. UFC and grappling arts like BJJ are the worst. They tend to grab on instinct, and if the grab a guy with a blade, that's usually the end of the fight.
Strikers (other than boxers) are comparable to untrained thugs in fighting strength. They tend to kick the moment the distance opens up, which can work, but often ends up with them on their asses and getting pounded into the ground.
Boxers are the one type of sport fighter I really hate sparring with, and clearly superior to untrained. They're vulnerable to destructions still, so a properly trained fighter tends to win, but if you can't get proper training, boxing is absolutely worth it.
However, someone actually trained for fighting (police, mostly, or military that don't subscribe to the "less-lethal options" bullshit the US military teaches ever since they stopped LINE) will always hold a massive advantage over the untrained, and a properly trained martial artist will generally still have a slight advantage over those professionals.
At least that's my experience from ~15 years of full contact, and training a few cops from the SEK (= German swat) and a lot of German and American soldiers.
